Before Slimming World I was never a fan of pancakes, and to be honest I still don’t like the crepe style ones but it is always good to retry foods we didn’t like as our taste buds change.
So I thought I would experiment with oatbran and doing American style pancakes and guess what? I LOVE them, even Shane loves them and he is a massive pancake fan.
The additional step of separating one of the eggs is key to making this light and fluffy, we really recommend not skipping this step, plus you get more out of your mixture, and who doesn’t prefer having a plate of 12 pancakes rather than just 4?
You can add any flavours and toppings as you like to your pancakes but here are a few we have done to get your tastebuds tingling…
